I love a good birth story. And I love talking about my own babies’ births. So, even though this blog has been very low on the priority list lately, I wanted to make sure I took the time to write about Chloe’s entrance into the world.
If you're a parent or have any association with that world, (who doesn't?) then you'll know that there is a certain subset of parents labeled "crunchy." Growing up, my mom used to say "that's too crunchy granola for me!" any time something natural seemed a little too weird or out of the ordinary. Disclaimer: she's come a long way and is pretty crunchy herself now haha but she will still say this from time to time!
Time for your monthly barrage of Willow. For her eight month baby pictures, I wanted to try something a little different. I'm running out of favorite locations in our house, and it's too cold to plop baby in the grass outside. So I did something I haven't done EVER. I plopped out a roll of backdrop paper and decided to take some photos "studio style."
Time is flying amirite?
I think the holidays seem to crank up time. It seems like it was just October and here we are in the thick of winter. The ground is covered in a thick layer of snow as I write this and I love it. I love looking out my window to see something white and different.
You know who else is enjoying the snow? A little Willow.
I'm always about two weeks late with these posts haha but that's okay. I am consistently off.
What's new at six months for the Whippers (her nicknames are ever evolving. She fittingly gained the title of Whipoorwill a few days after being born and singing us her hysterical little newborn song every night. This turned into Whips, which occasionally becomes Whippers. And that's the story of that)? Well! Reading back on my five month post, OF COURSE, sleep is a totally new game now.
This post is a little late, but there have been so many things to blog about lately! I'm looking back at my posts for the past month and every other post has had a baby face in it. This is me not apologizing and instead saying YOU'RE WELCOME. This blog has been needing some extra cuteness and Lily was tired of carrying the load herself for so long!
